Remove Child Porn From YouTube

I am looking for support from all people concerned with the sexual exploitation of minors in the United States as well as all countries that seems to go unchecked on the creator based video sharing platform YouTube, a company owned by Google.
Recently a video was published on YouTube showing the sexual exploitation of young children engaging in acts that should not only not be seen by minors but especially not be a part of the acts portrayed in such videos.

We are in a time of readily accessible technologies that enable any person of any age to access any content knowingly or unknowingly such as spam adverts or emails or even just pop-ups when visiting a website.

I don’t feel that such a limitation of such videos on YouTube could even be considered freedom of speech violations since all parties involved in the videos most likely are not given an option to participate or not. If the victims rights in freedom of speech is violated than the material produced from such actions cannot be considered free speech.

It is up to all of us to protect our children and many have taken the steps to protect their children with certain features limiting access to such content. However, it is easily circumvented with misleading video titles and tags. Having such videos with content of violating another individuals rights and freedoms by forcing them into sexual acts creates an environment that is not suitable for all viewers.
The freely available violent, explicit, and uncontrolled content of children being abused both physically and sexually on YouTube pushes society into an area of deviance that the majority does not want to see on YouTube.

It is my understanding that certain teams monitor certain areas of YouTube and it is not at all unreasonable to also include a team, if not automated or an algorithm, for such types of content as mentioned in this petition.

Please stand with us by signing this petition to have videos on YouTube removed that contain any sexual acts with a minor.

Holman Prize Blindness Ambition Award 2019

It is so hard to cram all the information I wanted to share with everyone in a 90 second video so I created this post to share with you about the Holman Prize.

Every year the Lighthouse for the Blind hosts the Blindness Ambition Award and after a few rounds of hundreds of entries, 1 contestant is chosen to receive up to $25,000 to use towards achieving their goal.

The entries vary dramatically and only one will win the grand prize.

What is my goal?

I would like to expand my home studio to bring more presentable, professional, and memorable videos to my viewers. I am currently on YouTube as well as a few others but most video platforms are not as accessible to my screen reading software. I do have some awesome friends who help me with the other platforms so I can focus on making the videos and they can post elsewhere for me.

As you can imagine, being a video producer for a blind person can be challenging but that’s what makes life a little more interesting isn’t it?

I do all the in studio work for my channel with the exception of asking for help with either creating thumbnails or finding them for my videos. I also host many live shows which I am also the producer of.

I’m quite limited on what I can actually do due to the limited access a blind user has with certain software but I do the best I can which you can see the progress on my channel. I’ve learned so much since the first entry of the Holman Prize Blindness Ambition Award and it is thanks to this contest that I started making YouTube videos.

What Would I Use The Prize Money For?

Primarily for upgrades to my studio including my computer, equipment, software, and studio set material and equipment.

The biggest expense would be the computer category because working with video production can be costly. Processing power, storage capability, camera, and finding the best accessibility friendly video software. Then there is the studio gear like mic’s, stands, sound tiles, variety of backdrops, etc.

I want to take my channel brand to the next step by becoming a self grown channel with out the partnership of an MCN, multi-channel network, that can dictate or direct a channel to push a perspective of the ownership rather than my perspective. I would like to keep my channel as close to free speech as possible within the guidelines that the platforms allow.

I have already produced the 90 second video entry which you can see here

and all you need to do to show support is to subscribe and like the video. Every like count goes towards the popularity portion of the contest and helps determine semi-finalists.

What Is Love? plus video player

In the video that follows this article you will hear some different points of view along with a discussion on the age old question of what is love.
We cover the topic from a range of perspectives of the philosophical, scientific, spiritual, and medical. We dig deep into each one of our souls and hearts to find the meaning of love for each one of us including Gentle Chaos, myself, Dr. Edward Spencer, and Mark Hightower. We all bring a unique yet similar understanding of what love means to us and what it means to those who aren’t quite in touch with their most inner being.
One thing we can be sure of is that love can be partly responsible for many emotions and feelings including joy, pleasure, fear, and hatred. I personally feel that each one of us can direct this emotion towards the betterment of our lives in seeing the love within as without.
